Osterley & District Circle 355 Katyn Memorial and Thames River Walk

Open to all Brothers, Wives, Families, and friends of Catenians.
Meet at the entrance to Gunnersbury Cemetery, Gunnersbury Avenue at 10:30 and proceed to The Katyn Memorial for a short presentation and prayers in remembrance of the Polish soldiers who lost their lives at the Katyn massacre in 1940.
This will be followed by a leisurely guided walk along the Surrey side of the Thames River between the Bridges of Kew and Hammersmith and will be led by one of the hosts Brother Jim O'Reilly. The main walk will be roughly six miles with an alternative shorter route of 3 miles utilizing the train from Kew Bridge to Barnes Bridge also available. There will be refreshment stops at a specially selected venue along the route allowing ample opportunity to be fed, watered and mingle.
The walk will finish at The Cross Keys Public House in Hammersmith where a private room will be provided for dining.
